I love being in nature and the countryside, but I don't like to paint landscapes. The closest I get is pulling out my watercolors when I'm traveling in small towns and villages overseas. I enjoy drawing and painting small-town environs. So this encaustic is unusual for me and is titled: "Painting a Landscape No. 1", ~ 12"x9" encaustic on panel.
