Sofa for Dining Seating
Design and photo: By others
The need has come up to shift some pieces of furniture around the house to accommodate a day bed in the sun room for a guest. The lovely old Regency Revival style sofa in the sun room will soon function as additional seating at the dining table. Research on the internet revealed these varied examples of sofa seating for dining.

Painting With Acrylic: Beginning lesson on color
In
last night's class, we learned about primary, secondary and tertiary
colors. We talked about warm colors appearing "aggressive" and cool
colors appearing to "recede". We worked through and observed these
concepts in an exercise by painting layers in the style of the great
Color Field Painter of the Twentieth Century, Mark Rothko. I'm
grateful for such attentive students! (The image shown here is my class
demonstration piece.)
